Welcome to Sacks Morasha, the voluntary-aided Jewish primary school in Finchley

Sacks Morasha is a vibrant, inclusive, modern-orthodox Jewish primary school committed to Torah values, Ivrit and fostering a strong positive attitude towards Israel. We opened in 2008 and at full capacity will have 210 pupils from Reception to Year 6.

Our name honours Lord Sacks, the former Chief Rabbi, and the word ‘Morasha’ means legacy or inheritance. The school aims to be a source of immense pride to the community, passing on Jewish values as a living inheritance to our children.

We are passionate about educational excellence, seeking and achieving high standards in both secular and Jewish studies (Limmudei Kodesh).

Our school has built a formidable reputation and received an impressive Ofsted assessment in 2009 and again in 2014, with outstanding grades for leadership and management and pupils’ behaviour.

We work in partnership with parents, pupils, their extended families and the wider community to develop our children to become responsible and committed members of the Jewish community. We teach children to be aware of other cultures around them and to understand British values, nurturing and encouraging our pupils to become tolerant and respectful global citizens.
