Annual Fundraising Dinner 2012

Building our tomorrow, today

Our fourth annual Morasha Fundraising Dinner on 14 March was a fantastic evening, with a lovely atmosphere, great food and inspirational speakers.

The evening was a great success with over 200 people attending, and thanks to your generous support we were able to raise over £160,000 on the night, with more pledges to follow. This is a huge achievement and well in excess of our fundraising from previous dinners.

These essential funds will be used to help with the planned renovation of our new Stanhope Road premises, to create an outstanding facility that will provide the highest quality of education and care for our children.

Funding priorities will focus on new infrastructure needed for the school’s continued growth in 2012/13 including: equipment for a new classroom, ICT hardware and software for the new intake, new sports and games equipment.

It was a huge honour and unique experience having the Chief Rabbi speak ‘in conversation’ with Rabbi Mirvis. The Chief Rabbi’s insights into his life, achievements, challenges as well as the parenting advice he gave was inspiring, and are good lessons for us and our children.

As you heard last night, these are exciting times for Morasha and we look forward keeping you up to date on the school’s development.

Thank you again for helping to build our tomorrow, today.

Simone Gershon
Vice Chair of Governors and Head of Fundraising
