Head Teacher - Mrs Hayley Gross
Our Head Teacher is Mrs Hayley Gross. Hayley was originally a qualified solicitor in the City before changing career to teaching in 1999. She has since taught in Hong Kong and then as the Reception Class teacher and Class 1 teacher in Rosh Pinah Primary School, where she exceeded targets set for her by the co-ordinator and head-teacher there in each one of the three years she has taught.
Hayley is very knowledgeable about the requirements of both the Foundation and Key Stage 1 and was originally appointed with a view to taking on the Reception / Key Stage 1 leadership role. However, in addition to her teaching responsibilities, Hayley manages the day-to-day running of the school from the outset, including line management of other staff members and acting as a main contact point both for parents and governors. She has performed this leadership role with considerable distinction and skill, and in April 2009, the governors were delighted to recognise her contribution by appointing her Acting Head. Subsequently, Hayley was confirmed as Head Teacher on 1st May 2011.
